Tin soheili (composer/manager)

Grammy award-nominee and guitarist Tin Soheili (b. 1972) was born in Teheran. He has left his mark on the international music scene as a composer and studio musician in USA, France, Germany, Asia, and in recent years Scandinavia. Tin has a long record of studio and co-production sessions with a variety of Danish as well as international artists.

Tin masters exceptional string instruments, and his talent covers instruments such as the sitar, oud, saz and banjo. In addition to this talent, Tin has specialized in music programming, composition and production. He has played, composed and produced film music for more than 150 film, TV and theater productions, and his music has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide. Besides composing, Tin is also the manager of Greatmusic.

In autumn 2011, Tin will feature in the play "The Bollywood Trip"- a "Cuckoo's Nest"-meets- Bollywood in a great love drama at Theater Republique in Copenhagen. Acclaimed Danish director, Rolf Heim, who has previously directed theatrical concerts and stage plays for the Royal Danish Theater, directs the show.

Alongside his musical career, Tin is on the board of directors at World Music Denmark. Just as he co-manages "Roostermusic", which is a user-driven music studio and record label for people with severe mental illnesses, situated in Frederiksberg, a part of Copenhagen.
